Karen and William work on decorations for an unusual class project: a model of a cell in the form of a cake.
William's biology project: a cake decorated to represent a cell. The decorations were hard and unappetizing, and stuck to the parchment. But the cake was moist and light, and the frosting fluffy and chocolatey.
Nature sent us an April Fool's joke. This storm dropped about as much snow as the last one, but without the high winds this one was easier to cope with.
